Oh, boy. That means they probably grow in and shed monthly. That's gotta be uncomfortable.

This is already a headache... what should I even do with them?!

Headaches are bound to happen. Just throw them out unless you want to like decorate, I guess.

You don't think people can do anything magic with them, do you? Like it's not still part of me?

I don't know. We don't have magic at home. Can they use body parts to do magic on you?

I don't know, but it seems possible. The foxes did magic of some kind, that puppet guy did another kind of magic, I think the moon squid queen did too. But I don't remember what specifically worked, it just seems... I dunno, like if they have part of you, it would?

It'd be worth finding out from someone who might be good at magic. Maybe we should...consider finding somewhere safe to keep them? Though if I"m not Iris, then they'll only shed once.

I could write a note for the board, see if anyone replies who has useful advice.

Right, so you naturally lose yours once a year, then? That'd be way less of a hassle. Though I don't know if it'd be better if mine stuck around. Especially if it came with all the rest... you got to grow into your antlers, right?

That's a good idea. I'd be curious to know, because it seems like you could use something like that for magic.

Once I figure out how to ask it that isn't "do you think people can use parts of your body that've fallen off against you" then I'll ask. You'll probably see any answers, but do you want me to tell you or something?

I did. I ran into a couple of people from home so we got a place there. This past month was still less eventful than before.

Yeah. I turned into a pretty weird looking wolf-hybrid during Sanguis, though. Have you gotten hit with the moon stuff yet?

Some sort of horned creature akin to a







deer.

Well, there's a lot of different types. I'm a red deer. I'm guessing not an actual deer, though, then?

I do not believe so. The horns are different. Not branched like antlers.
